Ecological Survey 2000
Section Descriptions

The section descriptions include:
  • General observations made of each section at the time of sampling, together with noteworthy observations made at other times of the year;
  • Images of the sections and relevant plants;
  • Tables comparing the abundance of dominant species in each section, with comparative figures from the previous year.
  • A summary of the major features of each section combining general observations and interpretation of the data.

These descriptions build upon those of the 1999 ecological survey report and should be read in conjunction with those descriptions for maximum benefit.
