DIRECTIONS FOR WALKERS
The Centre is located in a secluded, wooded valley
within the parish of Offwell in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is
less than 20 miles from Exeter and Taunton. It can be reached in under an hour from Torbay
and from Dorchester. Bristol is only 70 miles away.
The quiet, rural village of Offwell is located just
to the south of the A35, 4 miles from the town of Honiton.
Directions to the Woodland
Education Centre from Offwell Village
From Offwell Village Hall car park, walk back towards
the school and the church in the middle of the village. Take the single track road which
runs down the hill alongside the church.

Continue along this road until you come to the first
field on the right-hand side of the road. The field is just beyond some thatched cottages.
It has a large gate and a smaller kissing gate alongside. There is a public footpath sign
by the gates.

Go into the field and you will see a well-worn path
leading across the right hand side of the field to a wooden kissing gate almost diagonally
opposite you.

Go across the field and through this kissing gate and
you will be in the Woodland Education Centre. You can access an interactive map of the
Centre here.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please keep them on a
lead as you walk across the field.
The Centre is open at all times and there is no
charge for entry.
