Male & female Mallard

Buzzard

 

Long-tailed tit Nest built near Log Cabin. Seen most areas of woodland.
Great tit Most areas of woodland.
Blue tit Most areas and nesting in box near Log Cabin.
Coal tit Fir trees near Log Cabin. Kingfisher Pond area.
Chiffchaff Can be seen and heard in most parts of the woodland.
Blackcap (Male) Kingfisher Pond area. In holly bush near Lake Classroom and behind toilets. (Male and female) with nesting material flew into tree near the Hide.
Goldcrest In ivy near Dragonfly Pond.
Woodpigeon Monument Pond area.
Blackbird Maple Walk. Beech Walk. Log Cabin area.
Song thrush Near Lake Classroom and green works caravan.
Mistle Thrush Two seen the Heathland area.
Robin Most area’s of woodland.
Wren Most area’s of woodland.
Bullfinch (Male and female) green works caravan area.
Chaffinch Heathland. Near Lake.
Greenfinch Heathland. Glow-worm rise area.
Jay Top path, bluebell area. Monument Pond area.
Rook Flying over the Heathland.
Crow Displaying on fir tree, Log Cabin area.
Raven Displaying high in sky over Maple Walk.
Nuthatch Oak tree near Lake Classroom. On beech tree near green works caravan.
Buzzard Soaring over the Heathland.
Treecreeper Oak tree near Lake Classroom. (28th April)
Mallard (1 female, 2 male) On the Lake.
Moorhen (2) Wetlands near the Hide.
Grey wagtail (Briefly!) On the Lake (28th April)
Pheasant Near Dragonfly Pond.
Great Spotted Woodpecker Female seen on dead tree near the Lake. (18th April) Male on beech tree near green works caravan (18th April)

Noticeable absence of Swallows, Martins and usually resident Marsh tit.

Holly Blue, Orange Tip (male and female) Peacock, Brimstone, Red Admiral, Comma.

 

Damselflies

Large Red Damselfly (female).
