Project Launch Day

Opening of Dormouse Trail 10.5.08.bmp (23970870 bytes)

The Action for Biodiversity Project was launched with Hugo Swire, MP for East Devon opening the newly instated Dormouse Trail. With Mr Swire are Mike Banfield-Potter, a regular and long standing volunteer, and Lucy Morton, the Community Officer for the project.

Other activities on the day included pond dipping, along with butterfly and dragonfly walks led by local experts.  30 members of the public turned up to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and to learn more about how they can get involved in the Action for Biodiversity project.
